DfD will not make you bankrupt.
This is because you have only paid 3 payments into the scheme and that would not be sufficient for your court fees etc.
Will write more later for advice.0 -

aww its a pleasure; just wish I could offer you practical advice in your hour of need...I know things feel desperate and can understand that as I wouldnt know what to do with myself. Did you go over to the bank board? People are usually around here for advice & TLC! Yes its hard when your friends dont support you but it could be that they are worried about money too but dont know how to say it! Being in debt can be such a shameful thing & if people dont support you that's their problem, not yours! Keep posting & keep us updated! Another squidgy hug for you! Hang in there!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Herbie i wish i had seen that figure before i went through with the IVA, but hey you live and learn at a high price i must admit.
I have told my Dad the situation and he was very supportive as was my father in law. That is a big relief!0 -
Hello there,
Just wanted to let you know i have today secured a home for me and the kids!
£400 bond and a months rent in adv when we move in.
Due to move in on the 12th!
Newly decorated aswell, i have been a lucky girl. It is much nearer to my Dad and the kids school and my job, i feel 10 times happier that last week.
Now its time to focus my attention on DFD, not so happier times ahead there i think!
Will keep you informed.

There you go. Good news at last! Now you can put your energy into enjoying your new life and working towards being debt free. Just remember there is always someone on here with advice and encouragement (well perhaps not at 4am!). Hope the move goes well, keep us posted.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0
