Help Needed for Parking Eye fine - County Court Business Centre

Hi all,
I hope you can help me. I have been searching far and wide for the information but can't seem to find the right advice. Apologies as I am sure this sort of thing has been discussed a million times
So back in November, approximately 8pm I went to dinner with family and used a car park which is managed by Parking Eye. I unsuccessfully tried to pay and the machine did not accept my money (I think the price was around £1)
Many weeks later I received a Claim form from the County Court Business Centre saying the cost of the fine is £175 and now today I have received yet another one saying it is now £197 (see pics attached).
I of course want to avoid paying this if at all possible- I would even pay a £50 fine if it meant being the end of the story, but I cannot justify this amount.
Can anywhere please help and point me in the right direction. I've heard of the parking prankster but not really sure how to use the site.
Thanks all

The answers to your question are very close. Here in fact https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822
You need to start a new thread in the Parking forum but read the thread I've linked to thoroughly first. It has a section on court defences.0
