How do I cover insurance for 2 cars temporarily?

So we're voluntarily terminating our current PCP deal as our Citroen has gone into such negative equity it's not worth us keeping it and we're having a baby so needed a bigger car anyway. We're waiting for this car to be collected but don't have a date yet.
In the meantime, we've followed some great MSE tips (thanks) and bought another car on an existing credit card then moved it immediately to a new Halifax 26/6 credit card with no balance fee and 0% interest for 26 months. (Sorry, had to brag)
However, this new car is still at the dealership as we seemingly can't change the car insurance (with quotemehappy) until the old car is taken away.
We'd like to get the new car on the road asap. Has anyone been in this situation before or have any ideas what we can do as temporary car insurance is waaaay too expensive and we can't call quotemehappy due to their lack of a call centre.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

As Quote me happy only provide a basic online service, the only way you can deal with this, is to do a change of car online to your new car. Then take out temporary cover for say a week on the old car, chasing the finance company to take it away.
You should get advice about the PCP finance, as if you are not careful, you can end up owing more money than you think.The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0
