Question about a will

Options
My father-in-law has recently died and is survived by his spouse. In his Will he has left his share of his house to his son and daughter as tenants-in-common. Does this require the estate to go to probate?

Make sure that the executor gets a professional (RICS) valuation on the property, which is important for future events, specifically probate on his wife's estate and capital gains for his children when the house is eventually sold.
