Hi again hypno - just before I pop to the "today" thread, can you confirm you take Epson cartridges? Don't want to send it if its no good to you.

Some Epson cartridges are taken and some not. I will try and hunt out the particular model numbers and post on here so people know whether to send or not!

hey hypno,
just to back up what shineyhappy said about local businesses; I work in a community/arts centre type place and we get through LOADS of cartridges, we do recycle ours but its worth checking out similar places near yourself. Sure staff in many offices would be glad to have them collected, I know I would! (I always manage to get covered in ink when I try to do anything with them. it is not a good look.)

Hello Hypno
On a bit of a tangent - although relevant to Fishface's post above - have you thought about contacting local businesses to try to secure sponsorship for your children? Or even organisations like SportEngland?
I do this for a living, so would be happy to point you in the right direction / draft funding letters etc. Feel free to PM me.
Best of luck!

This is what I was gonna suggest too hypno ~ fantastic idea (even if I say so myself )
Cool hobby too - cant wait to be rooting for the hypno-sprogs in the Winter Olympics
Unfortunatley I cant help with the cartridges but I'm there in spirit

Hypno, someone has dumped 6 HP number 10 cartridges on my desk - all unused. No good for recycling but would you like me to send them to you anyway - you could maybe ebay them or something?
They're no use whatsoever to me because we don't have the printer that uses them anymore. I can't think what else to do with them except bin them!0 -
Well, if they are only going to be binned, then I would be happy to give them a home!
Can I just say that I am amazed and very flattered at the amount of help and ideas that have been given to me on this. I was worried that this thread might come across as being "trivial" so I am really really pleased that it has received the response that it has.
