First Direct online banking system

The FD mobile app has come a long way in the last 12-18 months and is now quite easy to use. I find the telephone banking very good and being able to talk to somebody that is based in the UK is great.

There are definitely better mobile apps out there but in comparison to HSBC, FD seems to have the better one.

HSBC are discontinuing their app and releasing a new one in a few months.

What that looks like is yet to be seen, however my guess is they use FD's app with a different colour scheme.

FD online banking far better than HSBC. App also very good for FD especially recent addition of payments to new people/companies.

First Direct also do First Direct Plus.....an account aggregator where you can see all your other bank accounts with one login.
