  • I will be. I'm going to treat myself to a Thai meal tonight, no housework whatsoever, & a small glass of white wine. I'm not really allowed alcohol because of my medication, but I've no plans to go anywhere tomorrow, so if I'm sick, I'm sick. :D

Fingers crossed you're not sick, but if you are I reckon it'll be worth it. :D

Already posted in your diary thread, but I'll say it again with pleasure:

    Hi wdiag,

I would like to echo everybody else’s best wishes.

There are lots of people on this site who have worked selflessly to help others through what is a very difficult and frequently frustrating path to financial liberation. I think the difference with you is the absolute certainty that if a new poster asks for help then you’ll be the one to offer assistance if the rest of us are away from our computers or just too busy to log on.:A

I have to confess on a number of occasions I’ve seen a post and thought I’ll go back and have a look later, and lo and behold when I do, you’ve already addressed the question.:T You’re never too proud to admit when you don’t know something for certain, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen you post anything that I could disagree with.;)

You’ve been as much a certainty as the sun rising in the East and setting in the West. Your Diary has been inspirational to many members of the site and I suspect an awful lot more who have never had the courage to post, but have seen their lives played out in your frequent entries.:T

I can’t quite understand how somebody with such intelligence, humour and motivation:o could ever get into debt but I guess that’s just an indication of how easy it is for people to become ensnared in a debt spiral, and how difficult it is to get out:eek:  .

Hope you enjoy your evening as much as we enjoyed the evening of ours:o  . We never even got close to E.D but then we didn’t deserve to.:D :D

    Best wishes,

    Rich

  • YAAAAY!!! way to go! WDIAG. That's really good news, I am so happy for you. I hope you stick around though as your experiance is invaluble. I love reading your diary and would miss it if you stop posting.

Enjoy your meal, I love Thai food and am rather jealous of you. Will be thinking of you eating it while I munch on my economy pasta.

  • Oh, Rich, that's so nice of you. :kisses3: Considering how stupid & useless I felt when I was getting deeper & deeper in debt, it's been an absolute pleasure to feel useful again, so I'll still be offering help here where I can. I'll definitely keep posting, as I don't know where I'd have been without this forum - probably still burying my head in the sand, & shoving creditor letters in the shredder. :o You don't have to be thick to get into debt - the only qualification is to be able to sign your name on the dotted line, so I met that with ease unfortunately, clearly on too many occasions for my own good. :)

And yes, Tigerfeet, I will be continuing with my diary - I never thought I'd be discharged this early, & I feel it would be wrong to stop it now, because ED is just the end of one chapter & the beginning of another. I can't forget what happened, but neither would I want to, so if my experiences can help anyone, I'm happy to keep posting them.

And Toto, I'd love to enjoy that great sex, but I'm single now, so my plans on that score I'm keeping to myself! :o:D Thanks again, everyone.
  • WDIAG, i'm just so happy that your happy, Like everyone else has said you soooooo deserved this. All the help and support you've been to everyone else, yet always maintaining a 'sensible, no frills' approach.
Good luck with the future, and i hope you'll stick around to continue your excellent work.
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(
