Great news, & I'm SO happy!!!

Well, I've just spent the last 10 minutes dancing around the house like a mad woman - I must have lost a stone! I'm so happy I could scream. "Why is wherediditallgo carrying on like a lunatic?", you may ask, with a bit of trepidation?

Well, lads & lasses, I've just opened a letter from the Insolvency Service confirming I've got an early discharge. :j :j My date of discharge is 10 September 2007, & I can't stop grinning & charging about the house like a happy child. :D

  • WTG WDIAG I am soooooo happy for you, I am 4 months in and have not heard anything from OR since my interview
    Went BR 25th May 2007 at 12.33, OR Interview now done. :eek: BSC No 88
  • Congratulations, how long did the ED take?

    :j :j

  • My early discharge is 5½ months since I went BR, so as others said, it does take a few months before you hear anything. The biggest surprise to me is that I heard absolutely nothing until I got the letter and the sealed notice in the post today – I thought they’d have contacted me to confirm things are still as they were on my BR date, but not a dickie bird until this morning. Maybe me paying my IPA early each month helped them make a decision. :)

    There were times when my OR’s slowness to respond to e-mails really got on my nerves, but I’m absolutely loving him today. :D
  • As they say... No news is good news.

  • Oh sweetheart that is fantastic news! :j

    Well done you :D

    Thats great, I'm really pleased for you:T
  • Fantastic news WDIAG - well done. I had never heard of a woman being pleased at having a discharge (early or otherwise) until I joined this board LOL
  • Oh, thanks everyone, especially Blind for that lovely compliment! I've just rung my cousin to tell her (she's the only one I'd told I was BR), & she asked what it felt like. It might sound crass, but the only way I could describe it was how everyone feels the first time they have sex, REALLY good sex - you're bursting to tell someone, but you don't dare & you think they can all tell what you've been doing from your face! :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Fantastic news WDIAG. :D:j:beer::beer::beer:

    I don't think I can put it any better than blind-as-a-bat, so I'll just add a "me too" to those sentiments.

    I'm sure you being prompt with the IPA payments helped, but so would being on an IPA in the first place. There wouldn't have been any of the IPOQ an ED letters stuff needed, since they could just get on with it.:D
