iSupply Feedback after 11 months as a customer

I switched my Economy 7 Electricity Supplier from EDF to iSupply approx 12 months ago. EDF provided good service but weren't the cheapest deal available at the time.
In early 2016 the various comparison sites didn't have the provision to compare Economy 7 tariffs ( this has changed now & most sites have this facility) so although I joined MSE Cheap Energy Club I ended up finding my own 'cheap' deal via Google searches.
In the end I opted for iSupply - saving myself a whopping £19 per month compared to EDF.
The 'draw' of being able to manage my iSupply account online & submit my own readings soon became a frustrating experience as the iSupply system repeatedly failed to 'accept' said readings & most times I ended up having to send 'photos' of the meter reading as 'evidence' - often these readings (4 out of 9, date stamped etc) were logged as 'non-validated' which I found bizarre & which led to my contacting the iSupply customer service desk to try to understand why? - they often cited technical reasons - a repeated mantra!

The above should give a clue as to where this is going..

The straw that broke the camels back was my receipt of an 'estimated' bill to end of December 2016 after my sending two emails with photo evidence of readings & a telephone conversation with their customer service dept, which I thought would have ensured an accurate bill - It took them until 23rd Feb to deign to answer my emails complaining about the estimated bill & agreeing to the accuracy of the photo's of my readings.
In between time, on the 17th Feb iSupply sent me a renewal offer for their Fix 12-Month Feb18 v2. - as with other suppliers prices were increasing. iSupply then followed up with another 'offer'- Fix 12-Month Feb 18 v3. which was more expensive than v2.
Although I now realise that market conditions change & offers are made & withdrawn, how was it I asked myself that when I did a comparison via a number of OFGEM approved sites, & ticked the 'whole of market' option that the Fix 12-month Feb 18 v2 was still available - in fact Go-Compare ( non OFGEM approved) could switch me to that tariff there & then? - comments on that one are very much encouraged...
My apologies for the verbose post - hopefully this will help others decide whether iSupply is for them - I'm sure they will get their act together but too late for me personally..
After days of searching & some deliberation I have opted for a company called Powershop - ( HQ in New Zealand) UK operations out of Birmingham. The difference between my old Fix March 17 ver 3 tariff & Powershop's Powerpack tariff is marginal & it looks as if I'll pay about the same for my electric this year as last!
I'll be posting on here to record my experiences as they switch me over (seamlessly let's hope) & start delivery of their service..
Happy switching everyone!
Cheers
Graham
