We use it as a filling for jacket potatoes. Bake the potatoes and then scoop out the potato and mix with stuffing (straight from the packet), a little bit of butter and some grated cheese.

Sprinkle generously over belly pork slices before roasting in the oven. I used to use it in meatloaf or burgers (along with grated carrot) to really stretch a small amount of mince. Also you could fill big portobello mushrooms with cream cheese and top with stuffing mix - roast for 20 mins or so.

mixed in with sausage meat before wrapping pastry around to make a sausage plait is nice.

parsnip patties - mix mashed parsnips with an egg or/and grated parmesan, then flour-egg-&-coat with stuffing mix before baking in med hot oven until browned. You can substitute half of the parsnip with mashed potato if preferred.

Dried stuffing mix is amazing, super cheap and adds flavour, bulk etc to so many things. Thanks for all the extra ideas here.

I like to add it to meatloaf, scotch egg and find it makes things like jack munro's carrot and bean burgers stick together better and taste lovely. I've sprinkled a little into slow cooker meals that are a bit too watery or lacking in flavour like chicken stews. Nice to bulk and firm up frittatas too.

Mixed in gravy it adds a little extra flavour. The kids used to like it mixed in mash too.

I used some today in my meatballs, which was a tray of turkey mince, half a block of feta crumbled up, a few handfuls of stuffing mix, some frozen spinach, defrosted in microwave and squeezed of water, chilli powder, garlic powder, paprika and pepper. All mixed together and formed into balls and baked.

I made mine with all of the above but the turkey mince was replaced with quorn mince and i used beaten egg to bind.
