Thanks for all the help guys. He hasn't rung.

Just wondering should i let my insurance company know that this has happened or should I wait till he rings me?

If he does ring, do i take his insurance details or just give mine?

    He may never ring you!

You told him you wanted to go through insurance, so that is what he may do (his insurers will be able to trace yours from your reg)

(If he rings for your details then pass on your insurer details)

You breach your insurance ts & cs by not informing them, so it's your call whether or not you inform them.
