Smart parking Inverness

hi
I got a letter re parking in struthers lane in Inverness. Though I did not even park or leave the car (just pulled in to pick someone up).
Anyway, I took people's advice and ignored these letters, however I have received one this morning from a second debt collector. This has been nearly 6 months of letters and they still haven't stopped.
Is this what others have got? Should I worry now they are threatening court action and just pay them? I have not contacted them at all about the situation.
Thanks in advance

That's all you'll get - debt collector letters. Hamster bedding.
Just keep on ignoring ... a debt collector CANNOT take you to court; Smart Parking WON'T take you to court in Scotland - they rarely if ever even do it in England/Wales (where they have more legal potential to do so).0 -
Unlike England and Wales, only the driver can be held liable in Scotland (and NI) not the keeper. As long as the scammers don't know who was driving there is nothing they can do. The same applies if the keeper lives in Scotland (or NI) but gets a private parking ticket in E or W.
Debt collectors can be ignored anywhere in the UK as they have no powers t do anything other than send you free bog paper.
The Sticky thread for NEWBIES explains all this in detail.
