Stardrops - washing up, stain removal, cleaning floors, cleaning anything pretty much!0

And white vinegar for pretty much anything else.
PS. On reflection, I couldn't recommend Stardrops for pickling eggs, though. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
Husband - (occasional) drying up, washing dishes, floors, hoovering, laundry and putting the bins out
Household ammonia - best for oven-cleaning, but also useful on hard-to-shift grease, grime and various other things. Beware of fumes and splashes.
On balance, husbands are probably the better choiceEek! Someone's stolen my signature! :eek:0 -
i agree stardrops (wouldn't be without it and use it for most things) and white vinegar, you don't really need anything else apart from furniture polish lol and husbands of course
xx

Another MSE'r mentioned this site the other day for this type of question. Go to www.dri-pak.co.uk and click on cleaning tasks. They sell basic type cleaners that do multiple jobs, ie soda crystals, soap flakes, bicarb etc etc. HTH!

Where can I buy those? My other half doesn't do any of those :rotfl: I want a refund!!!
Husbands are easy enough to come by (probably TOO easy!), and mine, like most, is equipped with the 'put-upon martyr' feature. This continuous grumble conveniently alerts you to the fact that your model is in operation. More sophisticated models will demonstrate potential overheating with helpful noises like 'What have you been DOING all day?' and 'Do I have to do EVERYTHING around here?'
Good luck in getting your refund processed quickly!Eek! Someone's stolen my signature! :eek:0 -
Sod the stardrops and vinegar then ... I just need to train my hubby, lol0
