Moving Washing Machine Location

I have recently moved into a flat where the kitchen needs replacing. to put it mildly, space in the kitchen is tight! Currently the washing machine is in the kitchen. I have an external staircase to the flat entrance (into the kitchen) which has an under stairs cupboard with power but no water supply. It does however have a drain. My freezer is already located in the cupboard and one of my options to free up space in the kitchen would be to install the washing machine in the cupboard. Is re-routing the plumbing to the under stairs cupboard likely to be an expensive job or is it relatively straight forward? Just weighing up options currently so just wanted an idea of whether this was worth investigating or not! I know I will probably need Freeholder permission to make the plumbing changes but he is generally very accommodating to enhancements so should not be an issue if I decide to do this. My lease includes the staircase even though it is external so use of the cupboard would not be an issue. If anyone has any knowledge or experience in this area your views would be much appreciated!

Cost will depend on distance between water supply and the intended location of the new supply, construction of any walls floors it may have to pass through.0

Thanks for your response. The stop !!!! in my flat about 5 meters from the under stairs cupboard (the floor above) and would be through brick walls. I'm guessing the stop !!!! is close to the start of the water supply? The pipe goes behind existing kitchen cupboards so I can't see where it actually comes in without taking the kitchen apart! I guess I'll need to get quotes with and without the movement to see if it's worth the additional cost!0
