Condensate trap really loud!

Hi guys was wondering if anyone could help? Recently had a new Vaillant ecotec plus 832 combi boiler installed. Everything is working fine its just when the condensate trap releases its contents it sound like a waterfall, I just wondered if this was normal or if there is a way of reducing the noise as it wakes me up every morning because of the noise!

It's a motor driven pump and will always make a noise. Your daily routine has resulted in the boiler filling the condensate pumps reservoir to full and it discharging at a particular time each day.

Is the boiler on through the night?

Is that a pump inside the boiler as I had the separate pump removed and a condensate waste pipe took to nearest drain. Boiler is not on over night it turns off at 8pm and comes on in the morning at 5.30am. it just sounds really noisy didn't know if this was normal?

there is no internal condense pump on a vaillant. There is a trap inside the boiler and when it's full it runs away. Depending on where the drain is will depend how much it will sound it will make. If it falls verticality then it will make abit of noisy.

Yes it falls vertically into the floorboards and then horizontally until it links into the bathroom waste somewhere. So am I right in saying there is no way to reduce the noise it's just a case of having to live with it?

Maybe try some 22mm pipe insulation, you will always get water flow out of pipe, how much will depend on usage

how come there is so much in the morning when the boiler isn't used throughout the night?
I'll try some pipe insulation see how that goes, thanks for your help
