  • I've downloaded the full listing page and have screenshots of every interaction I've had with the seller and with the courier because I had a suspicion I would be needing the evidence. I've only communicated with the courier through live chat because I wanted to be sure I had everything in writing.

Whilst I would not normally advocate this, if your Ebay case fails, you could try and open a paypal case. Although it will be closed in the seller's favour, they are more amenable to "evidence" on appeal and will likely ask the seller to provide a manifest/certificate of posting which shows the delivery address. This isn't a guarantee though, so don't do it until you feel you've reached stalemate with the seller AND that you've exhausted the ebay appeals system.

*You have 180 days to open a case with Paypal.
