    There's another option - wait until your first monthly £100 has been invested and then you're free to top up with any amount from £100 (it doesn't have to be £500 minimum if you already have investments in the fund, even if these are less than £500).

    So once the fund is open, I can add as little or as much as I want on an adhoc basis? Will I be charged per addition or just the flat 0.25% of the balance?

    It does have to be a minimum of £100, the only way to pay less is to use a monthly instruction.

    The 0.25% is the Platform Fee, so it's a flat charge.
