Benefits for insuring more than one car?
Comments

Roughly six years ago i was with Direct Line. I had full NCD. When my wife started to drive i bought a cheap small car for her to practise on. Talking to Direct Line, as long the car is registered in her name and she has a qualified driver with her at all times they not only insure her but will also give her full NCD as long as she does not have a claim in a year. Made a huge saving that way. Don't know if insurers still give you a discount for insuring more than one car with them.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way

I was told by a friend that if you insure two cars with one insurance co they give you NCD on the first but none on the second.
He uses two different companies and gets full NCD on both of his cars.
Mabye it depends on the ins company.0 -
Liverpool Victoria give discounts on second and further policies. Doesn't even have to be the same person - just the same household. Extends to buildings/contents cover as well0
