I ordered one late last week & today i went to get it all set up.
Plugged it in & went through to connect to the WiFi. I didn't count them off but if 4 bars is the maximum signal then it was showing 3 bars.
Time & time again though it said either couldn't connect to amazon.co.uk or error/failed to connect to our home network basically.
I wondered if i'd maybe changed the password so i disconnected some devices & reconnected - nope i was entering the details correctly.
2 iPhones, an iPad & a laptop as well as a Wii U & PS4 all can connect wirelessly no problem, yet this Amazon stick wont.
So i got the small TV from upstairs & sat it next to the router & tried again ....... same problem.
I would imagine the chances of it being faulty are fairly slim, i just can't figure out why it wont even connect.

BT home hub ?
If so it's smart filtering , it's asking a question that you cannot see

Sorry i forgot to add that ...
It's a Sky router. Not their Q one.0 -
Is this 1 of the new sticks or old ones ?0

Hi, I have exactly the same problem, does keep telling me that the wireless is connected but it cannot connect to amazon. I have a Sky hub.
Mine is the old one0 -
have you tried going into the stick settings select "forget network" scan again and then re input your password0

Anyway this is a weird one. I went back downstairs after posting here & plugged it in again.
This time it asked me if i wanted to continue with my Amazon account. I never got asked for WiFi details but they were stored anyway.
Strange.
And i bought a 'refurbished' one off Amazon last week so i don't know if that's new or old but it doesn't have voice commands.0 -
Haha mine is now working too... wonder if it was a connection to amazon then. I could see mine in the router settings0
