Overpaying my way to a new home

I have had various threads over the years, ranging from OMG how will I manage without going bankrupt to everything seems to be going well!
However, i'm still in the same house with the same mortgage with the other half who is refusing to consider arranging a new mortgage deal despite having figures in black and white that show we could SAVE, therefore overpay an additional £110 every month which would give us an extra £1500 ish towards a deposit on a new home when we intend to sell up and move on. So, i'm assuming to remortgage i'd need his agreement and a signature which isn't going to happen so I need to come up with a new plan :j
Currently I have one 0% credit card with a balance of £3500 which remains at 0% until December 17. My other half is paying this as it was a joint spend but i'd like it gone asap to allow me to get on with the business of paying down this mortgage as quickly as possible. Ideally i'd like to surprise him at Christmas time by quietly making the repayments then being able to move more quickly than we had intended. I also think that having a bigger deposit will come in handy as he is possibly considering a change of employment so the less we need to borrow in future the better really.
We've cut back all of our spending on unnecessary items, yes we still have some luxuries i.e. Sky TV and the kids go to various clubs but i'd rather be happy and saving than completely miserable so it's about finding a balance.
It's more about finding where I can make a little extra.
Current options are - my employer pays a mileage allowance, technically this is to cover transport costs but i've already budgeted for these within my budget so the intention is to pay any reimbursement off the CC first then towards the mortgage.
My new job has the opportunity to cover some work on weekends and Bank Holidays with payment for OnCall and then additional payment if I have to work for more than 2 hours on the actual day. I'm not massively confident in the role just yet but i'm sure with the option of earning extra cash I can learn quickly. I only have 5 days in the next 10 months but i'm fairly certain there will be people looking for cover so I can always volunteer for extra!
Other than this then I think it might be resorting to eBay - I've just been reading that people pay for old loo rolls and jam jars! with two kids we generate plenty of rubbish!
It might be baby steps but we're currently making a regular overpayment of approx £500 so we're well on our way.
Mortgage currently stands at £73,000 and we pretty much need to get it to £60,000 before we can move, ideally £50,000 would be better but this might be a tall order simply by selling loo rolls :rotfl:
