Electricity poles on my property. Best way to claim.

Hi, I hope someone can help me.
I have an electricity line on my property, I received a letter today regarding pcc, this company would act on my behalf but would take 20% + VAT!
What's the best way to claim the money? I would rather do it myself than give money to a company.
Or can I asked to have it removed?
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Do I yourself.
You get a wayleave payment for every pole and stay that supplies other people.
Contact your local supply company and give them a plan of the fields you own or rent.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -

Sorry I haven't been on here for years, apologies if I have placed in the wrong section.
Do I just say I want to get a wayleave payment? And they will proceed it once I have given them our home map.
Can I get them removed?0 -
There's a long thread on the forum about this - you don't need PCC though they seem to tout for business directly - you just need to speak to the electricity company but read the below first for tips
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3693507Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
