There would have been at least 2 litres of oil, some boxes hold
far more than that though. At the incident the OP would have noticed
if 2L of oil had spilled out.
The oil draining wont have caused damage. Driving with no oil could have.
Not sure why they need to contact witnesses or the police about the damage your claiming? None of those will know the extent of the damage.
Without knowing what is actually wrong with the sump plug who knows whats actually wrong.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Could it be that the motorbike has damaged the sump of the gearbox and the car driven home before the owner noticed.The term sump just means a resevoir,all engines and gearboxes have them.If this is the case then the owner should not be out of pocket as the motorbike/driver caused the damage.0
