Virgin vs BT/Sky who wins

Need some guidance please, I just paid my latest quarterly BT bill for £156.75, that only covers our internet connection, we haven't had a phone to use a landline for about two years now, the dog eat the phone cable and most people use the cell phone now anyway, given that cost and the £67.50 we pay to Sky each month I asked the wife to contact Virgin to see what they would offer, they came back with a package that includes
VIVID 200 optical Fibre up to 200 MBS
Full House TV
Talk Weekends - phone
Sky Sports Collection
BT Sport and ESPN
Free voicemail
12 month contract
Virgin media hub
Virgin TV V6 box
Engineer installation - free
Total cost of £75 a month
Not understanding the software package too well is the 200MBS the internet speed or the usage we will have, its not important to have BT Sport so we could drop that, given at the moment wed are paying £120 a month this is a huge reduction but I don't want that to mask the fact that included here are a few items that I don't need or want which could reduce that further, so is it a good deal and can io get a better price elsewhere,

Which channels do you actually watch? Check if they are on lower packages than 'Full House' with Virgin. Cancel Sky, and no doubt you will get a 50% off discount from them.

You say they are a few items that you don't 'need or want' but without saying what they are then it's not really possible to advise further!

As an aside, BT Sport comes as standard with the Full House package and with Virgin it's normally the same price to keep the phone line as it is to go BB only.
