2 hard searches for one application

I was trying to order a new phone online but while applying I got an error message which told me to phone the sales team. The sales team told me it's because my account was previously deactivated, he said that it wouldnt have done a search first time and he did a search for me which was successful.

I checked clearscore and see 2 searches, is there anything I can do?

There is no search showing for my recent increase in credit card limit which they don't yet acknowledge

Clearscore has always said I've made more than a few applications per year but I'm finding that hard to keep down with insurance renewals, replacing faulty old mobiles and switching current accounts. I'd like to make my next mortgage a bit smoother and eventually get some reward credit cards, otherwise I'd still be debit carding
