Hi, I have a Nationwide Flexdirect current account and I am thinking of opening a Flexplus packaged account to get the offers of travel insurance, breakdown cover etc. Can I open this account alongside my other account or do I have to close the other one down. Also I can't see in the Flexplus account if I need to have any Direct Debits paid from the account. I have had some great advice on here in the past and hope someone can help me now. Thanks in advance for any help or advice

Officially you can hold up to four Nationwide current accounts.
If you can't see a requirement for DDs then there isn't one.0 -

There a referral bonus available too if you have a look around.0 -
I've got all 3, a joint Flexplus, joint FlexDirect and a sole FlexAccount (due to be upgraded soon back to a FlexDirect). As Yorkshireboy says you may have up to 4 current accounts. There is no DD requirements and no minimum pay in, plus the 3% interest up to £2500 is good.0
