balance transfer cards

hi al, i am paying for a car via a bank loan, it cost about £17000, but each month i pay about £80 in interest, just wondered if i could get a balance transfer card and save on the interest, is it lkely i would get a card with that sort of credit limit?
thanks
Bill

  • No, to both questions. A £17k limit isn't impossible, but highly unlikely.

But you could possibly get a money transfer card, with a limit that may allow you to overpay some of the loan. However, that will depend on your credit file and income. Affordability will be your biggest problem.
