I have a savings account in addition to a normal current account with lloyds.
If I give them my account num and sort code for the savings account, can they pay into that?

Ok then, I will give you my savings account details and you can send some money to me and I will tell you if I get it😀
Seriously though I regularly send money into one of my sons savings accounts with Lloyds, as long as the sort code and account number is used.0 -
Some can, some can't. If you put the sortcode into a checker it should give you an indication whether it will accept payments from external sources.

Automated payment or over the counter? If the latter, which bank?0

I think it depends on the bank and if the account is a standalone one or connected to your main current account x0
