Remove item before end of auction?

Hello people,
I've got 2 items on e bay. 1 has a watcher and the other nothing. I'm wondering whether I can take the item with the watcher off, there haven't been any bids yet. And how ethical this would be? The item is a collectable and I know it's worth more than the £1.99 I started it at but it's probably not worth more than the minimum reserve £50.
Thanks for any help,

Yes you can stop the auction but if you have set a reserve of £50 you will not get a refund so you may as well let it run. Alternatively why not lower the reserve. All the bids will come in the last few hours of course.0

You can't set a reserve lower than £50, as OP pointed out.My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Ah yes, of course not, thanks.0

Not much help now but maybe you should have set the starting price higher and without reserve. Would probably cost less in placement fees.0
