Which is better?

I believe you need a dish with Freesat - with Freeview you don't.0

Look on their websites to see whose programmes suit you best. We have an aerial and Freeview PVRs (as well as Sky) but Freeview would suit us best anyway, as Dave, which my husband watches, is not on Freesat.0

You should also look at which terrestrial services (Freeview) are available in your area, as some parts of the country can only get the PSB channels.

I suggest that you look at the Freesat channel listing here:

As teddysmum says, Dave is not on Freesat.
As to 'worth watching' FTA channels on satellite, that's going to be a personal taste.
You will probably also need a proper satellite receiver rather than an old Sky box.0 -

OK, so we are starting to get an answer. We've identified that there is one channel on Freeview that is not on Freesat.
Is there a more comprehensive answer available?0 -
How about this?

As none of us here are psychic enough to know which channels are important to you, I suggest you just look through it and decide.0
