If opening a cash ISA / help to buy ISA with your current bank will they run a credit check prior to opening the account even if already an existing customer?
Any info on this would be much appreciated.

Just 1 point your credit score isn't seen by anyone, the history is whats seen.0 -
I don't know the actual answer, but I can say from my experience, I never had a problem opening an ISA when I had less than favourable credit history.0

I opened an ISA and there were no checks on my report of any kind.
There's no real reason why there would be. It's not credit and there's no risk of you ever owing anything.
Some banks might have their own policies but I'd be surprised if any credit checks occurred.0
