i cut the stem off - however (sorry for a bit of a hijack) i find that mind sits a little lopsided regardless of how much i try to push it to the opposite side and it ends up "rubbing" if i have to walk about much which isnt too comfy. Any ideas of how to fix this or why it happens?0

The rim of mine was hurting when I took it out too, I contacted the company and they told me to tilt it when removing so one side of the rim comes out before the other. That seems to have solved it.
I've cut the stem bit off almost totally, i don't use it at all.0 -
I've cut the stem off mine almost completely - I don't know any mooncup users who haven't! Inserting I think varies from person to person, but don't ever use the stem to pull it out. Try gently squeezing the sides, then rotating a little to break the suction. It does take a fair bit of getting used to, they used to say 3 cycles but mine was more like 6. If you are struggling I would advise to give up for that cycle, and try again next time. Stay relaxed about it. Good luck0
