small claims mediation service?

Hello,

Just a quick query. I've contested my ticket, filed a defence etc and have now been asked by the courts whether I'd like to use the mediation service.

AM just wondering whether it is advised to say yes? Whether the court looks on this favourably? Or whether the parking company would entertain using it?

Ta!

My own view of mediation is that there must be something to mediate. If the PPC are claiming £254.00 because you underpaid by five pence, then no way. However, if you trespassed in a supermarket car park at 2 a.m. then why not offer them a few quid?

Nope - read bargepole's thread, it is important to know what to expect/what to do next including being prepared for filing your Witness Statement and evidence (defence is not the only job prior to the hearing).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
