Adding a printer to Macbook

I have my Epson printer wirelessly connected to my MacBook. I am the administrator for the MacBook. I also have my daughter set up on the MacBook as a separate user. She doesn't live with me. When she takes the computer to her house she wants to be able to print from it so she has ought her own (HP) wireless computer. Although we have wireless connection and can copy & scan on the HP, she can't get a connection between the computer and the printer. In " printers & scanners" it is just showing my Epson printer & we can't seem to add the HP printer to it. Any help would be appreciated.

In 'Printers and Scanners' you should be able to click on the little plus sign at bottom left to add a printer. Another screen will come up. Click IP on the top menu bar then you should be able to add the IP address of the wireless printer you want to connect to. I'm not certain about this, but you might need to be logged on as Administrator to add hardware.
Alternatively, check http://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c04510394 which explains how to connect HP printers using Apple Software Update for the drivers.0 -
Datostar, I already tried this but when the box came up asking for username and password, I used my details, even though it was my daughter who was logged in. It wouldn't accept my details. So then we tried her iCloud login but that wasn't accepted either. Obviously she doesn't have administrator login. Mmmm, I'll have a trawl through the link you sent.:smileyhea A SMILE COSTS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING0

You need to install the printer from your login, which is admin, not your daughters login.
It's been a while since I did this but one of two things should happen.
You will install the printer and both users will be able to select it by default.
Or, when you install it you may be asked if you wish for the printer to be available to just you or all users.
When done both users will see both of the installed printers. When at your house your printer will show as available the other not and when at your daughters it will be the other way round. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0
