Expedia - Hidden Charges BE AWARE

Expedia seem to be truly 'hiding' charges.
On the final payment page prior to booking I entered my debit card details and was shown the following;
Next to my card number:
"Airline card fee: £0.00"
On the right hand side:
Traveller 1: Adult £xxx.xx
Traveller 2: Adult £xxx.xx
Airline Card Fee £0.00
Total: £xxx.xx
After I clicked confirm to PAY, I got my confirmation summary saying I paid >£6.00 in Air card fees.
When I called their helpdesk they said that it's stated in their terms that some airlines charge fees. HOWEVER Expedia have a table with airlines, their fees, and cards that don't incur fees. For the airline I booked with, it clearly stated that there were no fees charged when using a debit card.
I managed to finally get a refund, however this could be an error from expedia's booking engine or a table of charges which is not updated from their end.

Which airline was the booking with?0

The last time I booked a flight with Expedia the payment was actually taken directly by the airline (BA), not by Expedia, so this may be beyond Expedia's control somewhat.
There are very few airlines that charge for debit card payments but there are a few out there that do.0
