I suspect they would want you to pay a fee for this.

Was this a bilk, an overstay, residential, or failure to enter a registration number?

I know nothing of Mr Wilkie, but believe that he is highly thought of by, inter alia, The parking Prankster,

This is not rocket science, and BW Legal and Excel are not well known for their competence. Surely you can cobble together enough stuff to knock them for six in court.

No the car was parked to visit a friend who owns a business on the local centre. The driver was told parking was fine and to just ignore the letters. There's no pay and display otherwise that would have been done, its a permit area.

I have no legal clue, so you say "cobble"... probably not as I have no idea where to start? In court against a legal rep I'm screwed.

I'm not sure.I had a civil court case a few years ago(not a private parking case)and i just did'nt turn up (emergency).I did'nt phone the court or anything later either. The judge re-scheduled even after the opposition objected.I was not asked for a fee.

  • That was my wife's car parking on a curb to get to work... This one's mine parking where I was told I could.

Then why not ask the court to reschedule.
