I've looked on ebay but people want to much money and most are badly damaged.
Keep an eye out - heres one that went for £32.00

Buy something like that, take the bits off that you need, replace the gaps with your broken bits and resell as spares or repair again, marking any damage. Or put in the listing "only bought as i needed some of the plastics, reselling the remainder as spares or repairs"
Do it right and you might only be out a few £0 -
Motorguy is spot on, I have done that several times, I decided to keep machine to harvest further parts as they failed, then got another for a song and made a good one I sold for more than I had paid.
Another good source depending on where you live is freecycle.org, just ask for used laptops or sign up with a dedicated Google account then create a forward for messages containing certain keywords "Samsung", "R519" "Laptop". You may end up with a better laptop, although they can be like buses, none for ages then a load all at once.
Also worth a trip on a weekend to your local tip, some do not allow you to forage as they have standing agreements so you ask people before they dump it, others allow you to pay £5 and take what you want. Please be nice to all MoneySavers. When models change so often and there are only limited numbers sold you get your parts whereever you can find them.
You could contact 100 shops that repair them and you may find one or 2 with the part you need.
Some parts maybe compatible from other models, you need someone that has stripped a lot of laptops to know whats what.
8 year old laptop? Is it worth repairing? Stick some duck tape or decorate it with stickers that strengthen the hinges.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
