High mileage van hire company

Hi
I have a big job to collect a lot of boxes from portsmouth to London.
It will require 4 vanloads of pickups from London to Portsmouth (165miles x 4 = 660 miles in total)
I'm curious as to what sort of van hire company will allow me to do these sorts of miles? The ones I know about have draconian mileage limits.

Any of them, you may want to avoid the ones where you only get xx number of free miles and its £1 a mile after that.
Be wary how you ask, mate ran a ran hire company and whenever anyone asked about mileage limits it was usually for the booze cruise ferry run.
He had to fetch several vans from the ports.
Ive done that much in one day. Midlands to S. Wales and then down to depths of Cornwall and back.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Have you searched the internet for options ?0 -
If you licence allows it why not rent a 7.5 tonne truck and do it in one trip?0
-
Or if you're able to rent a trailer and then you might be able to do it in 2 trips.
Are you weight bound or volume bound?0 -
I hire a van regularly and pay £40 (standard transit) or £50 lwb with 100 miles day free and 9p a mile after that. Just before Christmas I had a 4 day hire, I had 650 miles to do over 4 deliveries and it worked out at about £240 & derv. It's Kendalls in Leatherhead but they have a few branches and I'm pretty sure there are other companies0

ahh it didn't work out unfortunately. i was planning on getting some foreclosure stuff for dirt cheap at auction. but there was someone there who just wanted the stuff so much more than anyone and got bid up really high.
It was just me and him, and I bid him up from £4200 to £6160. He was a dog with a bone and wanted to make him pay but didn't want to risk him not taking the bait and letting me win.
The numbers didn't work for me, profit potential about the same as cost, but because it's boxes and boxes of stuff the labour in it is huge.
the price it closed was stupid. probably paid wholesale price0
