Hello
Does anyone know what time a British Gas electric meter goes off on a Sunday? I have just realised I have 15p left of emergency and I'm not sure where would be open now on a Sunday night for electric. I wasn't aware it was on emergency until my partner said!

The prepay electric meter does not know or care what day it is.when the credit is used up you go onto emergency credit ( I think its £5 worth of electricity ) which would have given you enough to get to a paypoint tomorrow and top up.It will take off what you have used in the emergency credit when you top up. I m sorry but when it turns off its time to get the candles out or got to bed early or go out to the pub.. . The only advice is to get rid of prepay meters. Its free now to exchange to credit meters where you then have the choice to go on a one year fixed tariff deal much cheaper than any prepayment meter tariffThis is a system account and does not represent a real person.
