Buy it Now Button Not Showing on Auction Listing

I listed an item at a start of 99p with a BIN at £27. But I don't see the Buy it Now button on the listing page. I have a bid so can only revise so much, but when I do try to revise I see that both the 99p auction start price and the £27 BIN boxes are greyed out - meaning they can't be edited. But also, apparently, meaning that there is a BIN option available.

What's going on and can I change it?

When you get any bids [without a reserve], it cancels the BIN
    Technically its now sold

As above when you get a bid it cancels the BIN. I think the only way to put it back would be to cancel the current bids and end the listing.

Then relist as a BIN not an auction.

You could have put a BIN of £30 and a starting bid of £27.99 so the lowest winning buyer will be at £27.99.

Yes, thanks - I have just figured out that that's how BIN/Auction listings usually go, i.e. prices not too far apart.

I'll leave it like it is and see how it goes as I wouldn't like to end a listing that has bids.

Just for information there has to be a 40% difference between the start price and BIN price.

As it stands now if you don't attract any more bidders then item will sell at 99p, as long as you are OK with that then all is well. If you definitely wanted more then it is always best to start at the price you want, or just list as a BIN.

The bid may well be what is sometimes called a BIN stomp. Someone has seen the 99p start and decided to see if they can snatch it at that price, so take the BIN out early and hope no one else bids. I've done it myself , and have quite a fair percentage of wins at substantially less than the original BIN price.

Didn't know it was a 40% difference between the 2 values. One to remember.
