BT Mobile price rise?

Hello everyone.
I have a query, my Father and Myself both have a BT mobile phone contract ( on the same account )
Since BT have raised their prices for Broadband ect, we decided to go with another provider. However, we have just been informed that our mobile phone contracts will rise by £5 each, making one contract £25 and another £30, should we cancel our BT services. We were never made aware that this would happen should we decide to leave.
Do we have any way to address this? Any thoughts would be welcome.
