lexmark 2300series driver unavailable

latest windows 10 update has removed driver for Lexmark 2300 series..reads driver unavailable. tried reinstalling orginal installation disc but no joy..computer not recognising the printer. this happened before when I originally upgraded to bwindows 10 but the printer driver miracously returned some months later. tried various web searches as to how to fix this but no luck. can anyone advise how I go about regaining access to my printer..i am not greatly tech savvy...thanks in advance for any assistance

Have you tried the windows 8 drivers?
If it's just the printer side then the Lexmark Universal driver normally works0
