Looking for advise..I have an excellent credit history with a experian score of 999 and a perfect credit history.. low usage of credit card to availability however Advise please ... It came back i have low affordability score ( low disposable income ) when I did my free credit check through MSE. I have a very good income? My only thought to this is that I separated from my husband he agreed to continue with mortgage payments .until iend of term ( 2 years left) due to his high income he reduced the term and makes large monthly payments to make sure the mortgage is paid off sooner..... my concern now is as I am divorced and the monthly mortgage is high it looks like it's against my affordability even though Its paid instead of maintenance which leaves me quite comfortable.

Ignore the scores.
Only an application will give you a idea of how lenders are viewing you.0 -
Was thinking of getting a car loan however afraid to be turned down as wrongly seen as low disposable income... any way it can be changed ?0

You'll put in those details when you apply for a loan.0

There's Nationwide who offer a soft search as opposed to a hard search, give them a try. Maybe try your own bank.
Are you desperate for the loan or could you wait for a better time.0 -
I am looking to get a new car in new future .0

Most car loans from manufacturers own finance houses in general don't look at affordability.
As the loan is secured against the car their is less risk to them.
Only way is to find a car you like and apply nobody on here will be able to tell you 100% if a yes or No. but don't worry about s decline most sakes people will have other options to help you get the car.
