Hi all,
So far I've done my piggy clicks but am currently on holiday in New York so hardly money saving. Can't believe everything is so expensive and can't even find a supermarket.
Have brought cheap trainers though. :T
Managed to use a coupon from a free paper to get 15% off a handbag at Macy's in Harrisburg (also only paid 6% tax instead of 8%?) when we went to visit DH friend/family.
Went to the Visitors centre in both Macys and Bloomingdales to get the 11% discount coupon and used it on more goodies. :T Of course had to spend over $100 in Bloomingdales to get a free keyring which can be brought for $35.
Might see if I can buy a couple of items as either presents or Ebay them.
Will get hotel taxi on Friday to save shelling out $50 on a taxi fare to airport.
Planning to ebay at least a couple of items at the weekend to recoup maybe a few pounds.
Might suggest going to Wendy's tonight for dinner as we've been forking out on $50-$70 for dinner every night not to mention breakfast, lunch and expensive bottled water.
Can't wait to get back home and back to my thrifty ways.Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)

Today I have:

* QuidCo searches & piggy comps
* Ordered two things via QuidCo & the cash back has tracked already
* Just put on some washing to get cheaper electric & will dry them overnight - a very clear & windy night in store for us apparently

Cycled to and from work today, therefore saving £2. Posted two items that I'd sold on Amazon, came home to find that another 3 things had sold, so £15 for some things in the spare room that were going to get thrown out!
Also, sat and worked out what I'm saving now I work closer to home and don't have to commute.......ahem, £197 per month!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
