Good Morning fellow DFW Peeps and welcome old timers and newbies alike :hello:
Welcome to Wednesday - middle of the week already !!!!!
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
So, today I will:

So, today I will:
- do piggy comps, clicks and surveys
- not have my heating on more than is absolutely necessary (autumn has well and truly arrived!)
- cook DS a special dinner rather than going out for a meal (it's his birthday)
- get something listed on ebay - one thing ends today, fingers crossed!
- send everyone off with packed lunches
- update my online spending diary
- check online banking and update spreadsheet
- be positive!

Morning Hypno and All who follow. Today I shall/will/have do/done
-Quidco clicks (piggy ones done until next week, they're a lot scarcer nowadays)
-HM lentil soup for supper  (I hate LS, but OH likes it)
-heating Hypno? It's not even October yet, couldn't consider it!
-list some more on e-bay
-re-list some Amazon books. And maybe go to the charity shop armed with some advice from the Amazon/e-bay bit from this forum, to find some more listable books.
-write to the bank (again)
-stay positive? (well I'll try)0 -
Hi everyone, I will today
- cook things for freezer using the reduced veg I bought yesterday (already started doing this)
- obviously only cook using items in as I did big shop testerday
- resist temptation in town
- continue reading money diet to stay motivated
- look into moving some money/debt around to save me money and help it easier now I am setting up my own business0 -
Tried on a pair of Magic Knickers in M&S, but reckoned they just moved the fat further up the torso and put them back. Saved £30!!!0

I've managed today to save myself £10.57 (and counting) by using a bag of old stamps a mate gave me, rather than paying out for postage on my ebay stuff. I've listed a load of stuff, plus OH got paid £150 more than we thought, so deposit for new house is looking safer and safer.
Haven't done my clicks today, as I have a small child at home today who's in a 'Mummy, I want to do this, that and everything else all at once' sort of mood, but will be doing later.
Having a freezer tea, as OH is out tonight doing work related stuff, and compnay pays for his tea, so veggie quiche & quinoa for us!! (HS quiche, and the quinoa was half price at Julian Graves, they had a mad 'everythign half price' week and I got loads of the basics like brown rice).
Got to look around for buildings and contents, plus life, so going to hopefully be able to go through quidco for that.
Haven't put the heating on but might have to later just to dry some washing, the bad weather means it's starting to pile up!! Plus I'm going to be cheeky and ask his dad to do a load for us in their tumble dryer when he comes at weekend to get DD for the night. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
