Can anyone just clarify this sign? Sorry I can't seem to attach a photo properly I hope the link works. It says, sorry had to remove link as I am new...sign says

I got a pcn02 at 17:13 for parking for literally two minutes while I went into tesco to collect an online order. The sign was facing onto the street and not the road...no idea there were restrictions there!
Any thoughts on whether I can appeal?

Have you tried getting the store manager to cancel this for you? He/she will probably try fob you with some "nothing I can do about it" guff but tell them you know that's nonsense and you won't accept it. You'll go right to the top of you have to and his/her name will be mentioned for not helping a paying customer.

You are being ripped off by fraudulent scammers and Tesco have a duty of care to protect their customers from this type of abuse.

Which company issue the PCN?

Council PCN, Council sign.

My interpretation of that sign would be that the restriction was not in force at the time and the CEO has made a mistake. The sign also sounds slightly unusual to me, so if I were you I would post on pepipoo:

I think this is a real ticket Lamiland PCN-02 is a council parking violation not on private land.
But as CM says the time stated by the OP is outside the restrictions stated on the sign.
