All 4 on PS3 problem

We use our old PS3 to access online TV content. However the All 4 app (which is updated to the latest version) crashes every time it is about to play a programme. It will allow us to search for a show, it will play the adverts prior to the show...and then it freezes and does nothing for several minutes right at the point you expect it to play the programme. BBC iPlayer and other streaming services work just fine. I would love to find a solution as I don't want to pension off the PS3 quite yet. Any ideas anyone? Thanks.

Their app isn't the best of the crowd. Mine (On PS3) crashes or fails occasionally. It did do it a lot more, I uninstalled it and reinstalled and it's behaved a little better since. Luckily it's rarely used...Drinking Rum before 10am makes you
