Hello
I need to buy a new gas fire and was looking for one of those hole in the wall ones. Are there any particular shops or websites that is reasonable that you can recommend?
I am so confused on what I should buy!

You would need to know what sort of chimney you have. Pre cast or standard brick chimney and ideal the depth of it.0

Assuming you'll want it fitted try the local fireplace companies. They'll come round & tell you what's needed & how much.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

They are more specialist to install, than a std type of gas fire, so you will need someone who knows what they are doing and is competent in the building work required.
Don't assume that you can buy one off the 'net' and then go to a Fireplace retailer to install it for you. The chances of that happening are slim, to none. We make our margins from both the fire sale and the installation, so any one of those missing and it doesn' become viable to install and as already said, they are a specialist fit, not all registered installer can do them competently.

I ended up buying this one

I have been told that I need to get a builder in first to sort the wall out first before any installation.0
