Disabled parking

Be careful of parking on double yellows. If they have those wee vertical yellow stripes drawn down from the pavement, then blue badge holders can't park there.
Also, in England, there's a time limit, usually three hours, if parking on single or double yellow lines, so you would need to use your clock disc.0 -
We were in Keighley a couple of years back, and needed to be there more that the three hours the disabled bays had stipulated. A parking enforcement official was there, and she told me that if instead we parked a few places up, in the pay and display bays, we could park there all day for free.0

Obviously. But it's a lot more convenient than searching for a disabled bay somewhere.Be careful of parking on double yellows. If they have those wee vertical yellow stripes drawn down from the pavement, then blue badge holders can't park there.
