The new light installation celebrates the evolution of the centre and shines a new Light on the food and leisure businesses at the centre.

From 12 noon there will be musical, theatrical and dance performances including light up hula hoop performances which are aimed at young visitors to the centre. You get involved and enjoy free workshop sessions where they will explore the sensory elements from light through to sound.

Then as the day continues there will be pop up bars, DJ’s, cocktails from Tiger Tiger and competitions to enjoy.

Event goers can enjoy a DJ set from Capital’s own James Cusack, as well Adam, Danny and JoJo from Capital Breakfast. Plus, there will be a special performance from chart topping artist, JP Cooper for all to enjoy in an intimate setting.

The new light installation forms a main feature in the atrium and is the start of an ongoing rebranding of the centre, which is soon to be revealed in all its glory.

Brian Oakley, General Manager for The Light explained: “Our food and leisure offer here at The Light is second to none; with great chain and independent restaurants, bars and coffee shops, in addition to a fantastic health, fitness and cinema offer. Day and Night we are a go-to destination and this event aims to capture that and to shine a light on all we have to offer.”
