 Hello my lovely!
I just wanted to say Hi and recommend the CCCS. They were really helpful and reassuring to us, and although we are doing our own debt management plan we took a lot of their ideas on board, and they helped the helpless panicky feelings go away.
Their contact details are in Southern Scousers "Newbie" post which I think you may already have been directed to, but just in case, click on this:

When we first did our Snowball in Auguest 2006 it came out at 2028, the next time we did it after scoring some 0% cards and consolidating some of our highest interest debt it came out at 2018.
When I found this site in June this year our debt free date was May 2010, and after spending a few weeks on here I am now looking at Feb 2010 - and obviously I plan to improve that still further!
We considered bankruptcy as an option - but because of our house and because my hubby would like to work for himself again at some point, we decided against it.
It is an option to look at though, and CCCS will go through the pros and cons with you.
There's also a bankruptcy board here if you wanted to ask any questions.

I am also a massive fan of the Money Saving Old Style Board which is helping me cut down my shopping bill.

Call CCCS hon, and get all your figures together, then you'll be able to get on top of this/ (You'll feel better just getting a proper grip on the problem I promise.)
Welcome to the gang!

It's scary stuff honey, but once you start dealing with it rather than avoiding it you start to feel more positive.
Suddenly there is a light at the end of the tunnel - even if it looks like a pretty long tunnel from where we're standing!
At least we're all in it together, huh?

Hi and welcome. This site never ceases to amaze me, I am always looking to see what money saving things people are up to. If I put the effort in and followed every one then I would be quids in by now (dashes off to Pigsback for her daily fix of clicks)Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0
